Job Summary

The job of Instructional Assistant III – Life Skills was established for the purposes of providing support to the instructional program within an assigned setting, in either a special education or general education classroom, with specific responsibility for assisting in the supervision and instruction of students with special needs (ranging from mild to severe), observing and documenting student(s’) progress; implementing plans for instruction; and assisting student(s) by providing behavioral assistance, including toileting and hygienic needs.
