America's Finest Charter School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Transitional Kindergarten (TK) Teacher who is passionate about creating a joyful, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for our youngest learners. The TK Teacher provides high-quality instruction that supports students' academic, social-emotional, language, and physical development while fostering curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning. Requirements / Qualifications
All required documents MUST be scanned and attached prior to submitting an application for this position. Incomplete applications will not be considered. 1. Copy of California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential 2. Applicants must have a Cross-cultural, Language, and Academic Development (CLAD) Certificate authorizing instruction to teach English learners, in order to be considered for the position. 3. Copy of Transcript (Official transcripts are required upon hiring). 4. Current resume 5. Letter of Introduction 6. Three (3) letters of recommendation. For recommendations, be sure to include the most current cell phone number and email address. In addition, one of the following early childhood education qualifications is required: - At least 24 units in early childhood education (ECE), child development, or a combination of both, OR - Professional experience in a classroom setting with preschool-age children that is comparable to 24 ECE/CD units (comparability is determined by the employing agency), OR - A Child Development Teacher Permit issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing - These requirements are tied to state apportionment funding and must be met by the stated deadline for eligibility.
