Job Summary
Under the direct supervision of the Transportation Supervisor, the van driver is responsible for the safe operation and general cleanliness of a district van or vehicle over designated routes within an established time schedule; to transport students to and from school, functions or activities as required. To also assist the Mechanics, as needed with duties such as but not limited to temporarily working as a bus attendant, general cleaning of transportation vehicles, pick up and drop off parts and to do related work as required.

MUST INCLUDE: Cover Letter Resume Three letters of recommendation 3 Professional references, including full name, phone number, and email address listed on the application Two years of driving experience in a passenger van
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Successful completion of a district van driving training program. Pass a Commercial medical examination. Be subject to pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing. Maintain a driving record acceptable for coverage under District vehicle insurance programs. Licenses and/or Certifications: Possession of a valid California Class C driver’s license, for more than 3 years, issued by the State Department of Motor Vehicles. First Aid Certificate issued by an authorized agency. Possession of PS Endorsement.
