The Extended Care Director is responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing a high-quality after-school extended care program for elementary and middle school students. This individual will create a structured, engaging enrichment program that balances academic support, creative exploration, physical activity, and social-emotional development. The Director will provide leadership and supervision for Extended Care Aides, ensure a safe and welcoming environment, and foster meaningful experiences that support the needs of students and families after the school day ends. It is a condition of employment that all employees conduct themselves in a manner that is compatible with and supportive of the teachings and mission of the Roman Catholic Church and the Diocese of Orange, including being respectful of the faith expressions of Catholicism. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Education, Child Development, Recreation, or a related field preferred. California teaching credential preferred. • Minimum of 3 years of experience in education, teaching, youth development, after-school programming, or extended care administration. • Demonstrated experience creating and implementing successful extended care or enrichment programs. Hours are 9:30 AM to 6 PM, Monday through Friday.
