Under direction of the principal, a Teacher at the Secondary School assesses the instructional level of students; instructs students in State and/or District mandated subject areas; evaluates students and the instructional program; continues his/her own professional growth; participate in school activities; and performs related work as required. QUALIFICATIONS Experience: Teaching and/or leadership experience in a school setting demonstrating use and implementation of successful instructional and student behavior management strategies. Education: Bachelors’ or Masters’ degree. Appropriate credential for services in a secondary school setting or currently enrolled in a teaching program. This positions are part of the Certificated Teacher Unit at MCUSD/MCOE and will be placed depending on experience and education on the Certificated Teacher Unit Employee Salary schedule. PLEASE NOTE THE 2026-27 SALARY SCHEDULE IS PENDING - SALARY IS CURRENTLY BASED ON THE 2025-26 SALARY SCHEDULE. A full job description is attached.
