Job Summary
The Orland Unified School District is seeking an applicant for a grant funded, part time Automotive Teacher position for our expanded transportation CTE pathway. The individual who is selected for the position will teach a combination of general CTE and dual enrollment courses to High School students in our newly remodeled auto shop. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the field of automotive repair. The ideal candidate will be able to communicate well with students, parents, and professional colleagues, as well as demonstrate a positive attitude and strong work ethic on campus and in the classroom. Must be flexible due to the rotating schedule.
Requirements / Qualifications
Interested applicants must attach: Certificated application, letter of interest, resume, two recent letters of recommendations, and any unofficial copies of transcripts if available. If any of the above items are not included in the application it may not pass the pre-screening process.
• Must be able to obtain a preliminary CTE credential from the Commission on Teacher Credentialing. • Automotive repair or other certifications desirable. • Teaching experience desirable.

The salary range listed on this posting is based on the Orland Unified School Districts full-time certificated salary schedule and will be prorated for the part time position.
