Job Summary

JOB PURPOSE STATEMENT. The Elementary Instructional Coach works under the direction of site administration and elementary curriculum and instruction, to serve as a teaching resource in content specific curriculum and instruction, assessment, and professional development for instructional staff. REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES: Incumbents may perform any combination of the essential functions shown in the job description. This position description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties, knowledge, or abilities associated with this classification, but are intended to accurately reflect the principle job elements.

Requirements / Qualifications

EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree is required (from an accredited college/university). EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Minimum of five (5) years of successful teaching at the elementary level. DOCUMENTS REQUIRED: Applicants are required to submit the following through Ed-Join prior to the position closing date/time: • Letter of interest • Three current professional letters of reference dated withing last 12 months • Resume • Copy of California teaching credential(s) (or equivalent) - Multiple Subject Teaching Credential (w/EL authorization) • Copy of transcripts - Showing conferral of BA or higher • Copy of test scores - As required for credential (i.e. CBEST, CSET, etc.)

CREDENTIALS/CERTIFICATIONS: Minimum Qualifications: Multiple Subject Teaching Credential authorization. Must have an English Learner authorization (CLAD, BCLAD, CTEL, SDAIE).
