Mater Dei High School, a Catholic, co-educational, college preparatory high school of the Diocese of Orange, has an immediate opening for an experienced Facilities Technician II. This full-time, non-exempt position will be responsible for a variety of duties related to overall facilities maintenance on a school campus. Daily event set up and tear down, including lunch areas for the school. Work performed includes minor repairs, set up and breakdown of campus events, plumbing, and painting. Responsibilities also include the upkeep of all assigned campus areas, to ensure a safe and clean environment for staff, students, and visitors. Work is performed in a fast-paced environment with deadlines and close turnarounds while maintaining a positive attitude. Some work will be performed off campus and includes nights and weekends. Candidate should be dedicated to the mission of Catholic education, as envisioned in Church documents and teachings, rooted in our core principles of Honor, Glory, and Love. Education: High School Diploma or GED Experience: Previous school facilities experience is highly preferred. Hourly Rate: $22-$32 based on experience. Hours: Any of the following - Sunday and Saturday, 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, 12 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Must be willing to be flexible with shift hours.
