Job Summary
Pleasant View Elementary School District (PVESD) is accepting applications for on-call, as-needed Substitute Teachers to provide classroom instruction during the absence of certificated employees. This position is not a guarantee of work. Assignments are offered through the District's substitute management system (Red Rover) based on staffing needs. Applicants must possess a valid California Teaching Credential or a valid 30-Day Emergency Substitute Teaching Permit and meet all applicable District and Tulare County Office of Education requirements. This is not a traditional school setting; we are in the process of building a professional practice and expect teachers to work and plan, and, in some cases, co-teach. We are building a very reflective practice for our staff and system. We are excited about the growth we are seeing in our students and staff, and it's exciting to see students take ownership over their learning.
