Job Overview: The Pre- Kindergarten Extended Day Associate will be primarily involved in working with Pre- Kindergarten students most of the day. They will also lead students in activities and games during recess/lunch and after school, prepare for after-school activities/projects, and guide students with healthy food choices. Supervise students while eating during recess/lunch, clean up during recess, and making certain students’ play time is safe and inclusive. Monitor the proper use of recess equipment, help students develop social-emotional awareness, and assist students with conflict resolution. Will maintain effective communication with co-workers, teachers, students, parents, administration, and document incident reports in a clear and concise manner.
