Join our Purchasing team as a Buyer and play a vital role in supporting Springs Charter Schools by procuring the goods, materials, equipment, and services that keep our schools and programs running smoothly. We're seeking a detail-oriented professional with strong negotiation and organizational skills who enjoys building vendor relationships, ensuring compliance with purchasing regulations, and delivering exceptional service to staff across the organization. Requirements / Qualifications
Education and Experience * High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and possession of the required knowledge and abilities. * Two to three years of increasingly responsible experience involving the purchasing activities of a public or educational agency.

The ideal candidate will have experience in purchasing and procurement with a strong commitment to accuracy, compliance, and customer service. Responsibilities include managing procurement for assigned commodity areas, coordinating competitive bids, evaluating vendor quotations, negotiating pricing and terms, and recommending product and service awards based on quality, cost, and delivery. This position also provides technical support throughout the purchasing process, maintains purchasing software systems, and ensures purchasing activities comply with applicable laws, regulations, and district policies.
