Chief Information Systems and Technology Services Officer at Madera County Superintendent of Schools
Requirements / Qualifications
Under the direction of the Superintendent, plan, organize, control, and direct strategic planning, and administrative oversight for all information systems, cybersecurity, communications systems, and technology support services for the Madera County Superintendent of Schools (MCSOS) and participating school districts within Madera County; lead the development and implementation of long-range technology strategies that support educational excellence, operational efficiency, student data privacy, digital accessibility, and secure technology environments for students and staff; ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to student data privacy, cybersecurity, accessibility compliance, records retention, internet safety, and public-sector technology operations; ensure the efficient, secure, and reliable delivery of technology services throughout MCSOS and participating educational agencies; train, supervise, and evaluate the performance of assigned personnel.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Any combination equivalent to: Bachelor’s degree in information technology, business administration or a related field and five years increasingly responsible information technology administration experience. LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Possession of a valid California Class C driver’s license. Incumbents must be insurable by the liability carrier for the Madera County Superintendent of Schools.
