Job Summary
Under direction of the Preschool Director, the Atelierista in the Reggio Emilia Inspired Oak Park Neighborhood School for preschool-aged children is an individual who brings artistic expertise by broadening and challenging children’s ideas through creative arts, materials, and directly with classroom teachers, and also simultaneously with teachers and students, devising and facilitating learning experiences that compliment classroom activities.

Comments and Other Information
Experience: Early care and education service in a childcare or preschool program, equaling 350 days of 3+ hours a day within four years, strongly desired.
Education:
12 units in Early Childhood Education/Child Development
Experience with a variety of artistic materials and methods
Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts preferred
LICENSE REQUIRED:
Basic First Aid and CPR shall be obtained within the first year of employment and certification maintained
