Grant-funded initiatives to improve and support quality in preschool and infant/toddler classrooms for programs such as Quality Counts California (QCC), Quality Rating & Improvement System (QRIS), First 5 IMPACT, and the Child Care Initiative Project (CCIP). Under the direction of the Child Development Administrator, the Early Childhood Quality Improvement Coach will: Be part of the Regional Early Learning Systems Specialists team to facilitate and support quality early learning and care programs, promoting environments, relationships, interactions, and activities that support all children’s growth and development and prepare them for success in school and life. Be part of the CPIN Regional Consultant Coaching team to facilitate and support the Training and Technical Assistance Plan activities as written for programs throughout Region 10. Requirements / Qualifications
Required Qualifications: -Two years of experience as a quality improvement coach, facilitator, or active team participant -Two years of leadership and training experience -Two years of experience working with low-income children from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds -Child Development Permit holder or Associate Teacher -Successful Fingerprint and TB Clearance and Type C California Drivers License Desired Qualifications: -Preferred degree in Child Development, Education, or related Social Science field -CLASS observer certification -Ability to collect, organize, and analyze qualitative and quantitative data. -Skilled in applying standardized rating tools or rubrics to classroom instruction and environment. -Knowledge of educational frameworks, curriculum standards, or quality rating systems. -Ability to work collaboratively with a team
