About the Role: Provide occupational therapy services to clients age 3-22. You'll conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver direct therapy to help students improve communication skills and access their education. This role collaborates closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student outcomes.

Occupational Therapist Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide therapy services in a school-based or clinic setting
  2. Conduct evaluations and contribute to IEPs if applicable
  3. Support students with motor, sensory, and developmental needs
  4. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team

Qualifications:

  1. Master’s degree in occupational therapy
  2. Eligibility to receive California OT license
  3. NBCOT certification

Occupational Therapist Physical Demands:

  1. Environment: Occasional exposure to dust, pollen, and fumes.
  2. Activity: Frequent engagement in tasks such as reaching, handling, standing, walking, and lifting items up to 50 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodations.
  3. Sensory: Ability to perform essential job functions with or without assistive devices or accommodations, including working in moderate to high noise levels.
