Trivium Charter School, a Personalized Learning Public Charter School, is looking for a dynamic, engaging full time math teacher able to teach junior high level math, pre-algebra, and math intervention for students with knowledge gaps for the 2026/2027 school year. This position will be fully virtual, providing synchronous math instruction via an online video conferencing platform such as Google Meets. We are looking for educators who are passionate about helping students succeed through individualized instruction and who thrive in a collaborative, student-centered environment where hands-on, project-based learning is a focus. Teachers should be comfortable learning new technology, collaborating with colleagues, communicating with families, and using data to inform instruction. Trivium Charter School, a Personalized Learning Public Charter School, is looking for a dynamic, engaging full time math teacher able to teach junior high level math, pre-algebra, and math intervention for students with knowledge gaps for the 2026/2027 school year. This position will be fully virtual, providing synchronous math instruction via an online video conferencing platform such as Google Meets. We are looking for educators who are passionate about helping students succeed through individualized instruction and who thrive in a collaborative, student-centered environment where hands-on, project-based learning is a focus. Teachers should be comfortable learning new technology, collaborating with colleagues, communicating with families, and using data to inform instruction. Our starting pay for the 26/27 school year is $72,700. We use a performance rating system so you can jump up in pay quickly each year if your performance is great.


This is a full-time job with a lot of flexibility! Applicants must have a Single Subject or Multiple Subject California teaching credential - preliminary or clear. Interested? Math degree or California math credential is preferred. However, any valid California teaching credential AND experience teaching math will be considered.

The teacher will collaborate with the student’s teacher of record, parents, and Special Education department (if applicable), to address the personalized math needs and goals of those students and families.



Preferred Qualifications:



- California MATH teaching credential OR Math teaching experience.

- 3+ years experience teaching designated subject area

- Knowledge of best practices for online learning

- Proficiency with Learning Management Systems such as Canvas, Schoology, Moodle, etc.

- Proficiency with video conferencing programs such as Google Meets, Adobe Connect, Blackboard Collaborate, etc.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Demonstrated ability to excel without direct supervision, take initiative to improve processes and to learn new skills and programs


Responsibilities:

- Design and implement curriculum that meets standards and ensures student achievement.

- Plan and carry out synchronous and asynchronous instructional activities that provide a positive and engaging experience for students and ensure that all students’ needs are met for your subject area.

- Clearly articulate deadlines, schedules, and procedures to students and parents to ensure that the planned curriculum is completed.

- Provide technical support to students and parents when necessary to ensure they have access to the material.

- Ensure that student achievement and growth is consistent and appropriate for your subject area and age group.

- Provide appropriate feedback on student work.

- Assess feedback from students and parents and staff regarding online courseware and online courses.

- Monitor students’ progress and achievement to implement necessary interventions.

- Collaborate with the parents, teacher of record and administration to ensure all relevant information is shared.

- Meet all expectations for progress monitoring and teacher of record, parent, and student communication.
