Job Summary
The Migrant Student Support Service Aide acts as a liaison between school, students and parents by performing the necessary duties of a responsible nature to assist in the implementation of the migrant program to provide: support to students, parents, families, small groups and community, supporting the projects by performing various duties as assigned. The Migrant Student Support Service Aide will be assigned to provide services to migrant students in the following grade levels: high school, junior high school and one elementary school.
Requirements / Qualifications
EMPLOYMENT QUALIFICATIONS: -Two years of related experience working in a school setting or related program: High School Diploma or equivalent (GED): Associates (AA) or higher degree or two years of higher education (48 college units) or successful completion of CODESP exam -Bilingual proficiency exam certificate (Spanish) -Type 35 WPM certificate
