Requirements / Qualifications

THE VACANCY: There is one full-time, 12 month permanent position at the District Office. The eligibility list established from this recruitment will also be used to fill future vacancies, substitute, and temporary positions for up to six months. THE POSITION: Under general supervision, to coordinate, schedule, supervise and participate in District printing operations; to coordinate record-keeping and report preparation activities; and to perform other job related work as required.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Two years of skilled experience in press operation, graphics and photography, including experience in desktop publishing, work scheduling, cost estimating and billing activities. Any combination of training and experience, which would likely provide the required knowledges and abilities are qualifying. Coursework in technical aspects of print shop operations is desirable. SELECTION PROCEDURE: The selection process will consist of a written exam and a qualifications appraisal interview (each weighted 50%) BENEFITS: Covina-Valley Unified School District offers 3 different employer-paid HMO medical plans (Kaiser HMO, Blue Shield of California Access HMO, and Trio HMO) to choose from as well as full dental, vision, and life insurance plans at no cost to all benefit-eligible employees.
