Requirements / Qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in special education, clinical services, or a closely related field. * Possess and maintain a valid California Teaching Credential in special education (Education Specialist Instruction Credential (Mild/Mod or Mod/Severe) or hold a valid PPS credential * Additional administrative credential preferred. * Master's Degree preferred. * At least three years successful experience in special education.

The Program Specialist works under the direction of the Senior Director of Special Education to develop a comprehensive suite of resources and processes for identification, placement, and support of students across the spectrum of academic ability. • Competency test will be administered to qualified applicants.
* Mileage will be reimbursed for work travel.
