BASIC FUNCTION: Under the direction of the assigned management and/or supervisory position, assist in providing instruction to individual or small groups of special education students in a classroom; monitor and report student progress regarding behavior and performance; perform a variety of clerical duties as assigned. Please see job description for further details REQUIREMENTS: Graduation from high school and one year experience in working with school-age children in an organized setting, or equivalent. B.A./A.A. Degree or 48 Semester College Units or Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) Certificate or letter of passing Valid First Aid Certificate issued by Red Cross within six (6) months of employment.
