Job Summary
Job Summary
BASIC FUNCTION: The School-based Mental Health Clinician provides Tier 2 and Tier 3 behavioral health services to students as part of the district’s Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS). This position focuses on delivering therapeutic mental health interventions, behavioral health screening and assessment, crisis intervention, treatment planning, and case coordination for students whose behavioral health needs affect their educational access, engagement, or school functioning. Please see job description for further details EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, Clinical Counseling, Psychology, or related behavioral health field. Minimum two (2) years of experience providing mental/behavioral health services to children or adolescents. Experience working in school-based or community-based youth mental health programs preferred.
