Job Summary
Under the direct supervision of the Assistant Superintendent of Student and Family Services, the Director of Student and Family Services assists in the planning and administration of student services programs for the District using leadership strategies that ensure that diversity, inclusion and equity exist for all students, are part of all educational programs and at the core of decision making. The EDSFS is responsible for health and emotional well-being, response to behavior programs, student engagement programs, and school climate and culture in accordance with the District’s Mission Statement.
Requirements / Qualifications
Education, Training and Experience A valid California Administrative Services Credential A strong background of successful teaching experience, secondary preferred. Successful school leadership or teacher leadership experiences beyond the classroom is highly desirable. Desire for second language proficiency in Spanish or other language to match community needs.
