Job Summary
Under the direction of the Director of Special Education, the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) works with individual students with extensive behavior support needs by assisting in the delivery of behavior intervention services. RBTs assist teachers and staff with the implementation of Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), general education interventions, and behavior-related accommodations as stated in the IEP.
Requirements / Qualifications
*High School diploma or equivalent *AA Preferred (but not required) *2 years experience in educational or clinical setting *Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certificate or desire to work toward obtaining RBT certification (to be completed within the first 12 months of hire)
