Job Summary

The Administrative and Human Resources Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting the daily operations of Motivated Youth Academy through a combination of advanced administrative, operational, and human resources responsibilities. This position serves as a key support to the management team by coordinating complex administrative functions, managing special projects, supporting organizational initiatives, monitoring budgets, and facilitating communication with educational partners and community organizations. In addition, the Administrative and Human Resources Coordinator administers and supports a broad range of human resources functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee records management, benefits administration, compliance monitoring, employee support services, and personnel processes. The position requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, discretion, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic educational environment. The Administrative and Human Resources Coordinator contributes significantly to the efficient operation of the school, supports strategic initiatives, promotes positive relationships with staff and community partners, and helps ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and school policies. All positions at Motivated Youth Academy involve participating in activities and events that support student enrollment growth and community engagement.

Requirements / Qualifications

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent; college-level coursework in human resources, business administration, office management, public administration, or a related field is preferred. Have at least three (3) years of progressively responsible administrative and/or human resources experience demonstrating increasing levels of responsibility. Maintain a valid California Driver's License, provide proof of automobile insurance, and have access to reliable transportation. Obtain state and federal background clearance (LiveScan) as required under Education Code Section 44237 prior to employment. Provide proof of a negative TB test within the last 60 days upon hire and maintain compliance with ongoing requirements pursuant to Education Code Section 49406.
