Requirements / Qualifications
If you do not have 48 College Units, an AA or BA Degree then you would have to pass a Para Educators Assessment test qualified under ESSA-Every Student Succeeds Act, previously known as NCLB - No Child Left Behind. - Certificate Copy (AA, BA or Certificate of NCLB/ESSA Compliance.) OR Certification (Copy of degree, transcripts or NCLB/ESSA Compliance) OR Copy of Transcript (showing 48 units or more) OR NCLB Compliance (Certificate of NCLB or ESSA compliance; For Candidates who do not meet above qualifications, they may obtain a NCLB/ESSA Certificate through testing.) OR Paraprofessional Testing (Certificate of completion for NCLB/ESSA Compliance)
