Maintains a positive environment through safe and efficient supervision of students at school sites and crosswalks. Three positions available: Golden Oak Elementary - 2 positions Sequoia Elementary - 1 position Available schedules: Monday- Friday 7:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Monday- Friday 7:00 a.m. – 1:45 p.m. Monday- Friday 7:30 a.m. – 2:55 p.m.

Minimum Qualifications & Abilities:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience and desire to work with children; ability to command respect using positive leadership skills.
- Ability to exercise good judgment and possess integrity; and be neat, in attendance, and punctual.
- Work effectively and cooperatively with teachers, students, staff, and administrators.
- Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written forms.
- Ability to carry out oral and written directions.
Essential Functions:
- Supervises students in the cafeteria, on the playground, at bus stops, in halls, corridors, and lavatories.
- Performs crossing guard duty before and after school.
- Assists in the general welfare and safety of students; reports accidents and hazardous conditions immediately.
- Encourages and enforces good bus/playground/cafeteria standards.
- Consistently encourages and enforces the following of correct rules, and organizes games to help establish habits of fair play in order to enjoy wholesome recreational activities.
- Places signs at entry/exit points in parking lots to inform motorists of drop off zones, parking zones, etc.
- Sets up and puts away recess equipment.
- Performs other duties as assigned by Superintendent or designee.
