Helios School is seeking an aftercare teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. The Helios Aftercare Team is responsible for the supervision of the children who attend the School’s Aftercare program. They provide a safe and supportive environment for Helios students at the end of the school day. Key Responsibilities: * Provides student supervision in the school’s Aftercare Program consistent with the philosophy, mission, values, and goals of the school. The Aftercare Program is a mixture of structured and unstructured play led by the Aftercare Lead and will include children from K-8. * Leads arts/crafts/science activities under the direction of the Aftercare Lead. * Performs other duties and oversees special assignments as necessary or assigned by the Aftercare Lead or the Auxiliary Programs Coordinator. Qualifications: * Prior experience teaching and/or supervising children; * Background in childhood development preferred; * Passion for working with children.
