Job Summary
Job Summary
The Community Liaison works independently and with the school site tiered system teams to accomplish duties that are well defined by policies, procedures, laws, codes and regulations. Works directly with students and parents on matters of extreme sensitivity, often requiring tact, diplomacy and counseling skills. Exercises judgment and discretion and requires strong time management and planning skills. Office work includes preparation of routine yet highly visible and sensitive reports, records and correspondence. Besides parents and students, contacts extend to District staff, administrators, community officials, child program workers and the general public. English/Spanish Verbal and Written Proficiency Required
Requirements / Qualifications
First Aid and CPR certificated (Proof of certification must be on file within 3 months of the acceptance of employment)
Required Documents Include: Letter of Introduction 3 Letters of Recommendation (must be within past 12 mo) Resume

Comments and Other Information
• Any combination of education equivalent to a high school diploma
• Experience working with students and families in individual, small, and large group setting
• Passing score on the District Exam as well as Spanish Language Competency Exam
• Bilingual/Biliterate English/Spanish Written and Verbal Proficiency Required
8 hrs per day ** Please ensure you supply all documents to be considered ***
District test will be given, those passing with 75% or better may be invited to interview for position. HR will contact to coordinate testing.
