Job Summary
Under the direction of the Site Principal and Director of Special Education, instruct special education students individually and in small groups in accordance with district policies and procedures; develop and implement IEP goals, assess students, and coordinate programs to increase independence and functioning in society, socially, vocationally and academically.
Requirements / Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: K-8: Education Specialist Instruction Credential—Mild/Moderate Disabilities, Specialist Credential in Special Education—Learning Handicapped or equivalent or currently enrolled in a Mild/Moderate credentialing program with the ability to obtain an intern credential. Possession of a valid California Driver’s License.
