Job Summary

Under the direction of the Principal and/or Assistant Principal, the Dean of Student Success assists in the development, implementation, and oversight of programs and services that promote a safe, positive, equitable, and engaging school environment. The Dean of Student Success supports student achievement through proactive behavioral interventions, attendance improvement strategies, restorative practices, Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS), social-emotional learning, and family engagement initiatives.

All answers to the questions on the application also required to be considered. • Letter of Introduction • Current Resume • Letters of Recommendation (3) letters (dated within 12 months) with at least one from your most recent supervisor QUALIFICATIONS: Education and Experience: • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university. • Valid California Teaching Credential. • Minimum five (5) years of successful teaching experience, preferably at the elementary or middle school level. • Experience working with diverse student populations and implementing student support systems. Preferred: • Master's Degree in Educational Leadership, Administration, Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field. • Administrative Services Credential, Certificate of Eligibility, or enrollment in an approved administrative credential program. • Experience with PBIS, restorative practices, MTSS, trauma-informed practices, student services, or school administration. • Bilingual proficiency Please do not include any additional documents only the documents that are indicated above.
