Job Summary

Job Summary

Perform a wide variety of complex and responsible secretarial, clerical and accounting duties; assists the administrative personnel in performing specific responsibilities as assigned. Manage routine data, including data cleaning and entry in systems such as but not limited to, the Kern Integrated Data System, CalPads, Schoolwise, and SIRAS information. Generating and reviewing a variety of automated reports on a routine basis, detecting and responding to due dates, errors, and discrepancies. Coordinates and maintains student assessment data and testing activities including ELPAC testing administration and related reporting requirements. Serves as the District's Medi-Cal Administrative Activities (MAA) Coordinator, including coordination of required documentation, time surveys, and billing related activities. Assists with scheduling and coordination of Individualized Educational Program (IEP) meetings and maintains related records and compliance timelines. Performs a variety of administrative support functions requiring accuracy, confidentiality, independent judgement, and attention to detail.

Basic computer skills required. High School diploma or equivalent. Must be NCLB compliant. (AA Degree or 48 semester college units or other district approved method.) Must be over 18 year of age. Applicant must complete TB risk assessment and must pass fingerprint clearance from California Department of Justice indicating that they are not prohibited from being employed. Applicant must pay the processing fee for fingerprint clearance. Applicant must have three years of clerical, secretarial, data management, or administrative support experience. Experience with student information systems, state reporting, educational assessments, MAA and educational records. Benefits: Retirement, medical, dental and vision.
