After School Program Aide Imagine Schools Riverside County Position Overview The After School Program Aide supports the daily operations of Imagine Schools’ after school program by providing supervision, guidance, and enrichment opportunities for students in a safe and nurturing environment. This role assists the Site Lead and Program Coordinator in implementing activities that align with Imagine Schools’ mission, ensuring students are engaged academically, socially, and recreationally after regular school hours. Key Responsibilities Supervise and actively engage students in homework support, recreational activities, and enrichment programs. Assist in the preparation and facilitation of daily activities, games, and projects. Provide a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for all students. Enforce school rules, program guidelines, and behavioral expectations consistently and fairly. Monitor student attendance and maintain accurate records as directed by the Site Lead. Communicate effectively with parents/guardians, staff, and administrators as needed. Support the Site Lead with setup, cleanup, and organization of program materials. Report any incidents, concerns, or emergencies immediately in accordance with school policy. Serve as a positive role model, promoting respect, responsibility, and teamwork. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (some college coursework in education, child development, or related field preferred). Previous experience working with children in a school, camp, or recreational program preferred. Ability to supervise and manage groups of students effectively. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Must pass background check and meet Imagine Schools’ employment requirements. CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 60 days of hire). Work Schedule & Conditions Part-time, hourly position; typically Monday–Friday, 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. (varies by site and program needs).

Assist students in their understanding of academic, life skills and/or appropriate social behavioral concepts by reemphasizing the basic elements of teacher-directed activities.
Assist with the general supervion of students both inside and outside of the classroom.
Prepares materials for instructional use under the direction of licensed staff.
Monitor and assist students during seat work and activities such as reading and writing.
With teacher direction, assist with practice activities and drills, i.e., flash cards, spelling words, math, etc...
With teacher direction, create learning material.
With teacher direction, modify learning material.
Assist teacher by checking class work and homework completion.
Assist students with technology skills.
Administer test individually.
Performs support in all areas of the school and classroom in the student activity (e.g. behavioral problems, truancy, etc.) for the purpose of providing a safe learning enviroment.
