Harvest Ridge Cooperative Charter School Newcastle, California Job Summary Harvest Ridge Cooperative Charter School is seeking a caring, energetic, and student-centered Transitional Kindergarten (TK) Instructional Aide to support our engaging TK Enrichment program for the 2026-2027 school year. This is a part-time classified position working Mondays and Thursdays from 8:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. (7 hours per week). The Instructional Aide works closely with the classroom teacher to provide instructional support, assist with classroom organization, supervise students, and help create a positive, safe, and engaging learning environment for our youngest learners. The ideal candidate enjoys working with young children, values collaboration, and is committed to supporting the academic, social, and emotional growth of Transitional Kindergarten students. Schedule -Part-Time -7 hours per week -Mondays & Thursdays -8:45 a.m. – 12:15 p.m. -School Year: 2026-2027 Essential Duties and Responsibilities Under the direction of the classroom teacher, the TK Instructional Aide will: -Assist with classroom instruction and learning activities. -Support individual students and small groups during lessons. -Reinforce academic, language, social-emotional, and behavioral skills. -Assist with learning centers, hands-on activities, and classroom projects. -Help prepare instructional materials and organize classroom resources. -Supervise students during classroom activities, transitions, recess, and other assigned times. -Assist students with personal needs as appropriate for the age group. -Encourage positive behavior using respectful and developmentally appropriate practices. -Maintain a safe, welcoming, and organized classroom environment. -Communicate effectively and professionally with staff and families. -Perform other related duties as assigned.
