Job Summary

Under the direction of the Site Administrator, perform specialized activities in support of the After School Program (ASP) at assigned District locations; coordinate and implement various student and family services; assist with recruitment, student and staff placement and development.

Requirements / Qualifications

Indianola Elementary Education and Experience: • Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school and two years-experience conducting educational program activities. • Incumbents must meet requirements specified under Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA). Special Qualifications upon hire for positions at a school site that is supported by Title I funds include: o Completed at least two years of study at an institution of higher education OR o Obtained an associate’s or higher degree (college level) OR o Met (pass) a rigorous standard of quality and can demonstrate, through a formal State or local academic assessment, knowledge of, and the ability to assist in instructing, reading, writing and mathematics. Licenses and other Requirements • Valid California Class C driver’s license. • Valid First Aid Certification within a six-month probationary period. The following documents are required to be attached to all EdJoin applications: -Current Resume -Verification of ESSA compliance in order to be considered for an interview - Three (3) Letters of Recommendation dated within 18 months of application date - Copy of transcripts (unofficial are acceptable) District-paid medical, dental, and vision prescription plans are provided for employees and dependents.
