Job Summary
The job of Early Childhood Education Specialist is done for the purpose/s of providing support to the educational process with specific responsibilities for providing instruction of pre-school aged children, infants and toddlers and educational exercises for parents; offering meaningful learning and recreational activities for pre-school school aged children, infants and toddlers; and employing a range of instructional techniques and strategies to enhance student progress and establish a productive classroom environment. This job is distinguished from similar jobs by the following characteristics: The Early Childhood Education Specialist is designed to deliver age-appropriate education to preschool children. This position parallels the classification of Teacher in the Child Development Permit Matrix. This job reports to Director of Early Education
Requirements / Qualifications
Applicant is required to have a teacher permit from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing and one year of classroom experience.
