Job Summary

The Theology Teacher is responsible for fostering students' spiritual, moral, and intellectual growth through the teaching of Catholic theology, Sacred Scripture, Church doctrine, and ethics. This position inspires students to deepen their relationship with God while promoting critical thinking, respectful dialogue, and a commitment to living the values of the Gospel. The Theology Teacher creates a faith-filled classroom environment that supports academic excellence, discipleship, and the mission of Catholic education. At Central Catholic High School the ideal candidate demonstrates a strong commitment to the teachings of the Catholic Church, integrates faith into daily instruction, collaborates with campus ministry and school staff, and serves as a positive role model for students through both word and example. Participation in school liturgies, retreats, service opportunities, and other faith formation activities is an integral part of this role.
