Job Summary
The Transitional Kindergarten (TK) Teacher provides developmentally appropriate instruction that supports the academic, social-emotional, physical, and language development of young learners. The TK Teacher creates a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment, implements standards-based curriculum, assesses student progress, collaborates with families and staff, and promotes school readiness while meeting the diverse needs of all students. The teacher maintains a positive learning environment, communicates effectively with parents and colleagues, and fulfills all professional responsibilities in accordance with district policies and the California Education Code.
