Job Summary
Under the direction of the High School Director, plan, organize, coordinate, and oversee all aspects of the school's athletic program; supervise coaches; ensure compliance with CIF regulations; coordinate athletic operations and events; manage budgets and purchasing; support student-athlete success; foster family engagement; and develop community partnerships that strengthen athletic opportunities for students.
Requirements / Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS • High school diploma or GED required. Preferably Associate or Bachelor’s Degree. • Minimum three years of successful experience in high school coaching, athletic leadership, or a related field. • Experience supervising and gauging coach performance. • Knowledge of CIF regulations, athletic program management, and student-athlete eligibility requirements. • Experience managing budgets, athletic facilities, and large-scale events. • Demonstrated leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. • Experience developing community partnerships, sponsorships, and fundraising initiatives. • Ability to manage multiple priorities, and work collaboratively with students, families, staff, and community partners. • Evidence of successful related experience working with diverse student populations. • Valid California Driver's License. • Current CPR and First Aid card(s) required. • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
