Job Summary

Under the direction of the Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services the Expanded Learning Coordinator assists the district in implementing district and school-wide expanded learning programs across the district and provides professional development and technical assistance to teachers and providers across all school sites to strengthen the expanded learning program and improve student outcomes. The Coordinator is responsible for program development, staff supervision, ensuring high-quality after-school programming that supports students’ academic, social-emotional, and enrichment needs, and performs related duties as needed. This is not a supervisory position.

Requirements / Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in education, child development, recreation, or related field * Minimum 3-5 years of experience in after-school programs, youth development, or educational settings * Minimum 2 years of supervisory or management experience * Knowledge of California ELOP requirements and expanded learning best practices * Strong organizational and project management skills * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation to travel between sites * Successful classroom teaching experience. * Knowledge of and experience with AI and AI Tools
