Job Summary

Job Summary

The applicant must hold a Single Subject Credential: Introductory Science. This is a 0.5 FTE position working Thursdays, Fridays and every other Wednesdays. This is a shared contract arrangement for the 2026-27 school year only. Health benefits and leave accrual will be prorated at 0.5 FTE per CBA and district policy. Duties and Responsibilities: -Teacher will deliver the approved curriculum equally -Teacher will grade assignments given during their respective days -Collaboration is mandatory to ensure seamless instructional continuity -Teacher will alternate attendance on their respectively scheduled Wednesdays for staff meetings -Teachers must attend all scheduled conference sessions -PD days will be split evenly or attended jointly as required by administration

-Bachelors Degree required -CA Single Subject Teaching Credential - Science: Introductory Sciences -CLAD certification or equivalent -Resume -(3) Letters of Recommendation (Current within the last year) -Letter of Introduction -Official Transcripts

At the time of initial employment, credential unit members shall be given full credit on the salary schedule for their first ten (10) years of full-time teaching experience, whether in California or another state. Thereafter, one (1) year of credit for each two (2) years of full-time teaching in California or another state will be allowed. Such experience credit shall only be allowed for public school teaching experience.
