Job Summary
Under the direction of the After School Program Coordinator, implement the after school program and provide instruction to students enrolled in the Program at assigned school site, communicate with school personnel on program activities. Education and Experience • High School Diploma or GED required. • Must be NO Child Left behind compliant through locally developed assessment or have 48 college units. • Over one year of paid or volunteer experience performing similar work with school age children ex. Instructional aide, teacher assistant, babysitting, child care. Preferred skills: Ability to supervise students in the after school program setting. Responsible for keeping all students safe, entering attendance and following appropriate safety procedures related to the respective activity. Ability to lesson plan, prepare materials and maintain a safe and clean working environment. • Bilingual in English and Spanish. -Cooking skills for our cooking class in our after school program -Gym/Weight Room experience to supervise weight room Schedule Monday-Friday 2:00 pm-5:30 pm
