Job Summary

The Visual and Performing Arts Teacher provides standards-based arts instruction to students in Transitional Kindergarten through Grade 8 at Ready Springs School and Williams Ranch School. The teacher will develop, coordinate, and deliver a broad TK–8 arts program that introduces students to multiple areas of the visual and performing arts, including visual arts, music, theatre/drama, dance/movement, and media arts, while recognizing that the successful candidate may have deeper expertise in one or more arts disciplines. The position is intended to expand student access to high-quality arts education, build creativity and confidence, support student expression, and strengthen the connection between the arts and the broader general education instructional program. The teacher will work collaboratively with classroom teachers, site administrators, and district staff to create an integrated, engaging, developmentally appropriate, and inclusive arts program for all students.

Requirements / Qualifications

Applicant must possess a valid California Teaching Credential authorizing service in the assignment. A valid English Language Authorization. Authorization and/or experience in one or more areas of visual and performing arts. Experience teaching or working with elementary and/or middle school students.

Certificated Application Cover Letter Resume Three (3) Letters of Recommendation dated within one year. Transcripts of ALL college work.
