The purpose of a Warehouse Supervisor is to provide support to the warehousing operations with specific responsibilities for supervising warehousing and delivery services and activities; maintain an organized warehouse layout, ensuring that assignments are completed in a safe, proper and timely manner; oversee assigned personnel; provide information to others; and schedule work assignments within established timeframes and standards. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Any combination equivalent to: Graduation from high school or equivalent and five (5) years of of increasingly responsible warehousing experience. Licenses and other Requirements: Valid California Driver License, SD County Food Handler's certificate and Forklift certification

OPEN TESTING – Open to employees of the District and the public with the selection process resulting in one (1) Eligibility List that will be used to fill current vacancies and any future vacancies that occur within one (1) year. Promotional candidates will have their seniority points added to their final score.
The selection process will start with an evaluation and scoring of application materials. A limited number of candidates demonstrating the strongest qualifications will be invited to proceed in the examination process. Candidates in the top three (3) ranks of eligibles will be invited to participate in a final interview.
The EdJoin system will time-out after a 20 minute period of perceived inactivity. Your responses to the supplemental questions are limited to 5,000 characters.
