6th–8th Grade Self-Contained Classroom Teacher Happy Camp Union Elementary School District seeks an enthusiastic, dependable, and student-centered teacher to join our rural Northern California school community. This position serves our 6th-, 7th-, and 8th-grade students in a self-contained classroom, providing instruction in core and enrichment subjects, including reading, language arts, mathematics, social studies, science, health, physical education, art, and music, using the curriculum adopted by the Board of Education. This is a unique opportunity for a teacher who wants to make a visible difference. In a small rural school, teachers are known and valued, and they can build strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of the Superintendent/Principal to support an active, capable, and growing group of middle school students. Happy Camp sits along the beautiful Klamath River in far Northern California, surrounded by the Klamath National Forest. For outdoor enthusiasts, the area offers river rafting, fishing, hiking, camping, scenic drives, gold panning, swimming holes, wildlife viewing, and access to nearby wilderness areas. We are seeking a teacher who brings structure, creativity, patience, and high expectations and is excited to teach in a place where school and community are deeply connected.
