Position- TK/Kindergarten Teaching Assistants Needed for Sycamore Creek Community Charter School Sycamore Creek Community Charter School is seeking compassionate, joyful, and collaborative Early Childhood teaching assistants to join our vibrant faculty supporting our Transitional Kindergarten or Kindergarten Teaching staff. We are looking for exceptional individuals who are passionate about young children and being a part of their development. We also encourage like-minded early educators who are eager to embrace Waldorf pedagogy to apply. In addition, we are searching for applicants who have or in the process of obtaining ECE units.

Responsibilities: Inspire and nurture young minds in a supportive and creative environment Maintain a calm, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment Support and uphold classroom rhythms, routines, and classroom rules Supervise children during indoor and outdoor play. Promote independent play, social-emotional development, peer relationships, and self-regulation skills Support students’ social emotional well-being throughout the day Be a part of a community that values collaboration, innovation, and lifelong learning Participate in onsite professional development to deepen understanding of Waldorf principles and practices Foster an inclusive environment that promotes diversity, equity, and belonging Ensure student safety and follow all school policies and procedures Qualifications: Experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting.
