Job Summary

The Girls Varsity Track & Field Head Coach is responsible for organizing, leading, and supervising the high school track & field program. Duties include planning practices, coaching student-athletes in sprint, distance, jump, and throw events, managing meet-day operations, and fostering a positive, competitive, and educational athletic environment in accordance with CIF and district policies.

Requirements / Qualifications

- Previous coaching experience at high school or collegiate level (preferred varsity experience) - Certifications: (Must be active or obtainable before the start of the season) *Valid CPR/First Aid/AED certification. *NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching & Sudden Cardiac Arrest certificates. *Concussion in Sports & Heat Illness Prevention certifications. *Clearances: Valid TB Clearance and DOJ/FBI Fingerprint Clearance. *Valid CIF Coaching Education Certificate *Completion of required coaching training modules (e.g., concussion, heat illness, sudden cardiac arrest) *Strong communication and leadership skills working with student-athletes

  • CPR/First Aid Certification
  • Letter of Introduction
  • Letter(s) of Reference (3 letters, dated within the last 12 months)
