Tulare City School District is now accepting applications for the position of: • REGISTERED BEHAVIOR TECHNICIAN A Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) performs a variety of activities in support of instructional programs for students and assists teachers and staff in the implementation of programs and materials to enhance the students’ learning experiences. The RBT is a paraprofessional who works under close, ongoing consultation of a District BEST Coach (BCBA). The RBT is primarily responsible for the direct implementation of behavior plans, analytic techniques, and evidence-based practices. This is a roving position. Drives a vehicle to conduct work. CURRENT/VALID Registered Behavior Technician Certification issued by the Board Analyst Certification Board (BACB) or Master's degree in behavior analysis and pursuing internship hours. If employed with RBT requirements, must maintain RBT certification throughout employment. 3. Nonviolent Crisis Prevention (CPI) certification will be provided during employment, and employee must participate in continued CPI training to maintain certification.
