Job Summary

Come join our Capay School Staff! We are seeking a 7th grade classroom teacher with an emphasis on math in grades 6-8 for the 2026-2027 school year. This position will work collaboratively with our 6th and 8th grade teachers to provide a rich learning experience for our students and prepare them for high school and post secondary education. Capay School is a close-knit school community serving students in grades TK through 8 located in the farming district of Capay in Orland. The successful candidates will implement high-quality instruction aligned to California Common Core State Standards and foster a supportive, student-centered learning environment. This role supports the academic, social, and emotional growth of a diverse student population in our rural district. Desired qualifications: California multiple subject teaching credentials or single subject credential. Salary $56,964 - $78,540, DOE + full benefit package that includes medical, dental, vision and life insurance. Stipend for Master's Degree. The district also accepts up to 12 years of experience for placement on the salary schedule. **District will support Bachelor's Degree holder with obtaining their Teaching Credential**
