Requirements / Qualifications

Required: -Any combination of education, training and/or experience equivalent to a High School diploma. Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of students. -Correct English usage, vocabulary, spelling, grammar, punctuation, and arithmetic. -General classroom procedures and equipment. -Must pass Paraprofessional exam before employment offer. If you have 48 college credit units or more, you are exempt from taking the Paraprofessional exam. Attach college transcripts to application. Post offer, pre-employment physical exam required. (POPP Physical) Desirable: -Experience in a multicultural work environment, preferably in a school environment. -Ability to understand and carry out oral and written directions. -Ability to motivate students in participating and learning activities. -Ability to learn the laws, rules, procedures, and practices related to the educational program. Work Week: Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 3 pm
