Come join our Capay School Staff! We are seeking a part time Music Instructor to join our close-knit school community serving students in grades TK through 8.The Music Instructor provides engaging, age-appropriate music instruction and enrichment opportunities for students in Transitional Kindergarten through Grade 8. This hourly position is responsible for fostering an appreciation of music through singing, rhythm, movement, instrumental instruction (as appropriate), music appreciation, and performance opportunities. The Music Instructor works collaboratively with school staff to enhance the educational experience and support student growth through the arts.
Requirements / Qualifications
Copy of Transcript (Showing a Baccalaureate or Higher Degree from a Regionally-Accredited College or University) Letter of Introduction (Formal Letter of Interest). This should outline the candidates previous experience teaching children and highlight any experience directing choirs, instrumental groups, or school performances. Three Current Letters of Recommendation Resume Valid California Teaching Credential with Music Authorization or other appropriate credential preferred. Willing to consider classified employee for this position.
